Tuesday

Last Friday me and my colleagues went to Copenhagen for the yearly Christmas party. The hotel/mansion we were staying at was situated next to the crown prince's castle, very beautiful, however we actually first thought we would stay in the castle (always wanting more, you know...) :) We were greated in the room with a bottle of champagne each and a Christmas gift (I-pod)!
We had a great lunch, then a guest speaker (a Danish adventure guy) game to speak about reaching goals. He thought we were a fantastically tight group even though we were from both Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland and it is true, it is like a big family. I am lucky since I could have ended up anywhere. The dinner with entertainment was good and then time a lot of dancing. Fun since I haven't been dancing this much in years.
Next day head ache and a flight home...
Sunday me and R spent checking out apartments. Still nothing to buy unfortunately.
A new sales period has started at work so we are really busy, I also have a small project going on which I hope will not kill me in the end... :)
Yesterday I went to the movies (about time...), we watched "Evening". A lot of stars but little going on, I would say. Very slow movie without a story or message. Beautiful costumes. I would not recommend it.
Furthermore no great news I'm afraid. We just have to believe that next year is the year when everything happens. The ones we love will be healthy/get healthier, we will get married, get a place to live, get a car (oh my, it started well but became a bit material...) and all worries will be gone. Can't wait until next year!

The weekend in Amsterdam was great. We got to do almost everything we wanted to. We ate and ate the whole weekend, which is of course our favourite hobby. Here it is folks, the list of food we almost cannot live without: (and that we ate this weekend)
- Dinner at De Griekse Taverna (Hobbemakade, Amsterdam)
- falafel at Maoz (the best one is at Leidsestraat)
- Febo (patat met, bami & kalfsvleeskroket)
- Broodje haring
- Belgium beer and kaasplank at Gollem (pub at Raamsteeg in A'dam)
What we have left for next time:
- All you can eat at Tokyo Cafe, Spui
- Wagamama
- Swirl icecream

It was great meeting you all even though it was very short! I will not have many opportunities to go to Amsterdam next year so we took the chance now.

This week is a short week since I am going to Copenhagen for our yearly company Christmas party on Friday morning. It is dresscode black tie and I am wearing a Mexx (!) dress. Robert is going to Finland to visit friends on Thursday so we are both busy. Today we got a visit from my dad and sister that have been in Madrid to see Sweden play football. Nice to see them since it is a month until next time, when I go home for Christmas. I just hope we have our own apartment by then. We went to see one today, which was gorgeous, but too small and without balcony. So just keep looking...
Now it is bedtime, I am reading Stieg Larsson, have to read a few pages before I go to sleep.
See ya!
